We are going to use a various amounts of shots, ranging from
a point of view shot to a PAN. The reason for us using these types of shots is
so that, the match on action feature is going to be used correctly and so that
from the audiences view of what is going on is going to be correct and going to
look good and make sense in a chronological order.
Here are some of the shots we want to use when filming.
The pan: we are hoping to use the pan shot as our opening
scene the reason for this is so that the viewer can see the location the production
is set in. By doing this when filming other shots and angles the viewer will
know the location and expect a scene set in that location.
Point of view: we used the point of view shot in certain
places to add a dramatic effect and to also allow the audience to see a
characters facial expression. By doing this it was easier then adding a hand
gesture which made it easier from the audience’s point of view to understand
the felling of a character
Mid-shot: we used a mid-shot in places were a character had
an object in there hand or to see and hang gestures made. We done this simply
again so the audience can have a better understanding of the characters
feelings.
Low angle: we used a low angle shot in a conversation to
make one character look bigger compared to another to add a dramatic effect.
